Youth Group 2009 Page (Will Soon Be Updated to 2009)

Yesterday we worked on the Lifehouse; Everything Skit, we are going to be peforming this as a youth group. We have all the parts filled in and now we are working on getting the skit procedure down, if you have any questions about this, see P.R. (Pastor Ryan) about more details and see if you can be apart of this. I (Ethan) am going to see if I can get some AWESOME graphics or get the computer involved some way. Otherwise, I will record it also for everyone.

We have also learned more about Spiritual Discipline....Which means we are disciplining ourselves and making time for God in our busy fall list of things to do. Ryan was saying that we need to make a special time for God each day, read the Bible and spend time in prayer with our Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ. Make sure that you are understanding the Bible when you read it and if you have any questions that you see Pastor or Pastor Ryan about it, they will be more than glad to help you. Or (if you are like me :) spending time to do some important research will always pay off in the future. Use the Bible, use the Internet, we are a world of information and their is a lot of information out there for you to use and learn more about.

I like these new topics that we are getting into as a youth group because these types of things, were the things that needed to come out of the dark. These are important and critical for our youth group foundation. Please make sure that you spend time researching and finding out information and answers to your questions on your own. Because when you start discovering things for yourself you can do some much more of this world of information and make the most out of it. I can hardly wait to see what Pastor Ryan will teach us next week....I am sure that God has a great plan for our youth group and I can't wait to see what that is going to become...

These past couple of weeks we are still on the subject of spiritual discipline. How this greatly affects your life, and how you need to apply it to your life. We have also seen what Ryan's vision is for this youth group. He was not called to maintain a youth group but be apart of youth ministry, so taht is what we are having as our goal. To more of a youth ministry than another youth group here in America. So lets get on board and start the wheels of Jesus....
